This was the first year we tried a team event. The
team event introduced a whole new experience which was
very cool. It was exciting to be able to team-up
on opponents, fly side by side and a challenge to
recognize who was who. In fact, one note from this
contest. I think if we do this again, we'll make
unique markings on the planes (i.e. yellow tail-feathers
on one plane and orange tail-feathers on the other) so
the are easily recognizable. At the end of the
contest, Bill confused Dave's plane as his own.
Meanwhile Bill's plane pile-drove into the ground.

Contest
Notes: |
Dave took first blood by downing Steve's plane.
Steve's plane took considerable damage, loosing its
tail-feathers and ripping pushrods out the side of the
fuse. Bill downed Wes' plane by knocking
tail-feathers loose.

All the planes looked awesome! Everyone did an
excellent job in building and preparing their
sailplanes.
