were no other competitors who could challenge
him. He enjoyed a couple victory barrel roles
and brought the plane home with a perfect landing.

Bill was the second person in the air
for the combat. Plane flew very well and was
fast and smooth. Perhaps too aggressive, the
Hien hit the Typhoon and broke-off it's own nose
section. Battery and receiver were hanging free
as Bill landed the crippled plane. Plane was
repaired quickly and sent back into combat but it
never flew the same. Later learned the elevator
servo mount was broken as well.
